Dr. Yvonne Nartey is an epidemiologist whose current program of research involves the use of novel epidemiological, statistical, and data science methods to understand the burden of cancer. Her research expertise includes clinical epidemiology studies on cancer and patient experience using large population-level databases of routinely collected health information from both primary and secondary care, and various epidemiological study designs.

She has expertise in using the UK National Cancer Registration Dataset, Clinical Practice Research Datalink, the National Cancer Patient Experience Survey, Hospital Episode Statistics, disease registries and other datasets. Prior to joining the Mansa Musa Institute of Public Health, Dr Nartey worked in the Division of Epidemiology and Public health at the University of Nottingham.
