Safiatu Tarl Abdullai is an assistant lecturer at the Department of Environment and Public Health at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) in Somanya, Ghana.

She is a professional nurse and Field Epidemiologist. She holds an MPhil degree in Applied Epidemiology and Disease Control and FELTP advanced certificate from the University of Ghana School of Public Health, and BSc. degree in Nursing from University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

She is experienced in nursing practice, teaching, curriculum development, research, and responding to public health emergencies including outbreak investigations. Research interest include non-communicable diseases, nutrition, reproductive health and infectious diseases.
